I find myself in a church.
Painfully ironic as it is, selfproclaimed "unholy" bands pass by.
There is no speaking.
Then again, there is nothing to say.
Sometimes, silence tells you more than a thousand words.

The narcistic singers take place on the stage, whilst the crowd watches their every move, cheering and whistling, stroking their ego's.
Not me.
Sometimes, not doing something means a lot more than doing something.

One after another, "guitar violence" rips through my ears.
I stand in the front, but I do not see nor hear them.
While I am in a church, my prayers go unheard.
Sometimes you can be more alone in a huge crowd, than you could ever be by yourself.
This is such a sometimes.

The east-european and scandinavian "metal pseudo-gods" run and jump across the stage, while the crowd goes insane.
I do not.
I am holding a glass of beer that tastes like warm piss, waiting until it is all over.
A blow of mercy that will shatter my dreams like a window that succumbs to the youthful playfulness of a child, which is sadly an accurate comparison.
Sometimes, it is better to fail and die a little, than to victor.
